Finances are becoming a bigger issue for people in Spruce Grove.
At our club's July 16 meeting, we heard from NeighbourLink, a great group of local volunteers who help out with just about anything that's needed.

Looking back on their past year, they noticed a spike in requests for monetary aid.
Increases in unemployment and underemployment have increased the need in this area, our club was told by Dick Lutz and Nat Rutter, NeighbourLink board members.
This Christian resource network provides support however they can, with resources coming from government, service clubs, businesses and the St. Andrews Thrift Shop.
In the upcoming year, their AGM will take place on Nov. 3, 2015 and their big fundraiser will be on April 2, 2016.
Rotarian Bill Steinburg is a member of the board and former club member Rob Meiklejohn is very involved in the organization.
