IT’S TIME FOR SUPERSTITION MOUNTAIN ROTARY’S ANNUAL GOLF OUTING!!!

This year we are introducing an exciting change!  We are doing a Ryder cup format with a competition between our US and Canadian players.  This promises to be a “hole” lot of fun!!  We are playing again on Gold Canyon Golf Resort’s magnificent Dinosaur Mountain Course known for its challenging design and breathtaking views.  Sign up early because only an equal number of Canadians and Americans can compete in the Ryder Cup Challenge. We will be teeing ‘em up for a 10:30 am shotgun start Saturday January 11, 2014. Mark your calendar now!!!

Here’s how it works:  twosomes from each country are paired with twosomes of similar skill level (which is why we are asking for the first time that you provide us with your handicap or average golf score on a regulation course).  We will still use a shotgun start.  Six of the holes will be designated as scramble holes (both members of the team shoot and select the shot they both want to play from); six holes will be better ball (both play their ball start to finish on the hole and use the best score); and six will be alternate shot format.  There are also a number of opportunities to be a tournament sponsor, which means you can help Superstition Mountain Rotary with our charitable efforts to help fight polio, domestic violence, provide scholarships, assist the local Boy’s & Girl’s Club, and so much more.
